Thanks to all who verbally or via e-mail offered advice regarding the fours competition.
The majority opinion favoured members selecting their own four and sheets are now up in the locker room for this purpose. Hopefully this will start on the third Monday in May.
This year I am proposing to run a fours tournament in conjunction with the aggregate on a Monday night. This would be on a knock out basis with losing players reverting to the aggregate.
There are at least 2 ways to start it :-
(a) Take a disc on the first night of the Competition and that will decide your team or
(b)Pick your own four and the competition will be drawn.
I would appreciate any suggestions ,ideas or preferences.
I am delighted to see the website back up and running allowing us to participate and be interactive.
The value has already been shown as for the last 2 or 3 years we have been blaming foxes for damaging the greens but apparently we have dinosaurs. I hope the Greens Committee will be seeking a solution.
I also think that Matt did a great job in setting this up and I wish Drew all the best in keeping it going.
